About
I am Erin White: a thirtysomething mama and writer living in the hills of western Massachusetts with my partner, whom I married once for love and once for history, and our two daughters. We like to refer to our house as The Estrogen Cottage.
I have an MFA in creative writing from The University of Massachusetts and my work has been published in Creative Nonfiction, Passionfruit, Babble, and elsewhere. My work has been nominated for various awards, including a 2004 Pushcart Prize. I also write a monthly column, The Hen House, for Literary Mama. I also teach fiction and memoir writing workshops for The Writers’ Mill in Florence, MA.
I love Gourmet magazine, staying in hotels with my wife, and swimming naked in cold water.
I don’t knit.
